How to Get Your First AI Portrait

The whole flow is: upload photos → train a model → generate portraits. Here's what that looks like.

Sign up and get your free credits

Create an account at avatune.ai/register with email or Google. After verifying your email, you get 30 free credits. No credit card.

30 credits = 1 Express model (20) + 10 portraits (10). Enough to try everything.

Upload 4–8 photos

Go to the Models tab and start a new training. Drag in your photos.

Use varied angles, natural lighting, and recent photos where your face is clearly visible. This is the single biggest factor in how good your portraits turn out. More detail in what photos to upload.

Pick Express or Studio

Express — 20 credits, ~3.5 minutes. Great quality, recommended for your first model.

Studio — 30 credits, ~5.5 minutes. Higher fidelity, best with high-quality input photos.

Wait ~4 minutes

Hit start and the AI trains on your photos. You don't need to keep the page open — your model will be ready when you come back.

Generate portraits

Once trained, go to the Generate tab. You'll find 65+ styles across 6 categories:

• Animation — Ghibli, Pixar, anime, Arcane, Spider-Verse
• Gaming — Cyberpunk, GTA, Valorant, League of Legends
• Heroic — Vikings, astronauts, superheroes, fantasy
• Artistic — Oil painting, impressionist, comic book, pop art
• Movies & TV — Star Wars, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Dune
• Vintage — 1920s Gatsby, 70s disco, Mad Men, retro yearbooks

Each portrait costs 1 credit. Pick a style and hit generate.

Every prompt has been individually tested to minimize the usual AI weirdness — extra fingers, warped faces, melted backgrounds. Not perfect, but way more reliable than raw generation.

Download and save

Portraits appear in real time. Download at full resolution, favorite the ones you like, and find everything later in the Gallery tab.

Tips

Start with Animation or Gaming styles — they tend to produce the most impressive results right away. Try at least 4–5 different styles. And share your referral link — you and your friend both get 10 credits.
